The silly decision made by judge Peter Seitz in the late 1980's seemed to put an end to the prudent fiscal decisions made by MLB owners when they colluded to keep player salaries down to mere outlandish levels.

Now MLB players make on average more than four million dollars per year and fans must now pay big bucks not only to attend games but to watch games on television through the escalated pay TV subscriptions.

Don't count on the corporate media to take the owner/consumer side. They never have. They attend games for free and are out of touch with the average fan.
